Kanan Desai, MS OTR/L

Kanan Desai has an extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist at various healthcare institutions such as Johns Hopkins Healthcare and National Rehabilitation Hospital at Washington Hospital Center. 

She has develped and implemented occupational therapy treatment plans, especially for acute physical disabilities and cardiac conditions. She showed leadership in stroke-related treatments and mentored other therapists. She was involved in multiple research activities, including ICARE Study funded by NIH and developing performance improvement measures for ICU patients. 

She has also received recognition for excellent interdisciplinary communication skills, patient-centric attitude, and superior customer service.
